A Detoxing Footbath

Today we took our daughter Azaria to see her Cranial Sacral therapist, Carol, at the Meridian. Carol had mentioned that the Times Delta (the local paper) wanted to do a story on Cranial Sacral, and she wanted to know if Azaria could be the person to receive the therapy while the reporter and photographer were there to do the story. We thought this sounded great, and felt blessed as always that Azaria had led us to this wonderful therapist.

While we were waiting for the therapy to begin, we were having a conversation with the reporter, Linda Bickford. She was asking the typical 'getting to know you' questions about Azaria, and us - it was a nice conversation. At some point it was revealed that Linda offers a 'detox footbath' that I had seen advertised in a flyer, one that actually peaked my interest . The flyer advertised the Ion Cleanse detox footbath, and showed this picture of feet in a typical foothbath tub with a not-so-typical dark colored liquid contained therein. After reading the flyer information, it was revealed that the dark colored liquid was actually water that had been polluted with the toxins that were pulled from the body through the pores in the feet ..... WHOA! I had to make an appointment.

Linda set me up to come back at 3.oo

Jump to appointment...

As I sat in the chair with my pants rolled up and my bare feet in a tub of nice clean very warm water, Linda turned on the machine and my detox began. What happened over the next 30 minutes was amazing, while somewhat disgusting - but not disgusting in a way that will prevent me from returning for more ... let me explain. :) As I sat having yet another nice conversation with Linda the water started to change color within the first five minutes, taking on an orange-ish color, and there were little 'floaties' in the water. Linda explained that these floaties were mucas from my lymphatic system - WHOA! ...but wait.... it gets better! As the detox went on and the water began to grow darker (after about 15-20 minutes or so) and there were little dark 'flakes' that were appearing in the water. Linda explained to me that these were metals that were once inside my body and had been pulled out by the detox process (the ionizer forces these charged metal particles to attach to each other.. they didn't come out of my feet like that...) - this was amazing.

Jump to the end - after 30 minutes of sitting with my feet in an ion charged bath of water that was once nice and clear, I found myself sitting with my feet in a tub of orangish-black mucky yuk ... it was truly amazing to consider that all of that gross stuff that turned the water into something that looked like it belonged in a barrel with one of those radioactive symbol symbols came from inside my body. I felt good, rejuvinated.. there was an obvious reaction and it was good! My body seemed happy with my decision to give this a try, and I will be going back for more... for the detox, the gross factor, and the nice conversation. :) See the bottom of this writing to view pics I took with my phone.....I couldn't help myself.

Linda has said that she will write an article for VisaliaWellness.com explaining the Ion Cleanse detox and how it works.. stay tuned! (and be thankful that she's going to explain it, so you don't have to sit through me trying to do it.. ;) )

peace
